It all started so innocently.
This past cold and snowy Monday, @coolchardonnay tweeted to @benchwineguy: “Noticed your new avatar. How are the little buds doing today?”
And @benchwineguy replied: “They are cold and scared today, just like me.”
So @coolchardonnay sent the following: “We are sending our warmest wishes to all our little buds in Niagara today.”
Pleasant enough little Twitter exchange. One of the really nice things about Twitter, in fact.
Then, one of the really amazing things about Twitter happened. Someone else joined in the conversation. That person was @RemyCharest, and all heck broke loose.
His first offering, at 12:49pm, was: “So I see you guys are all buddy buddy. #viticulturalpuns”
And at 12:56pm @coolchardonnay responded: “We are best buds.” And then it really took off.
